A tour of the Command Center dashboard

2 min read·2 views·100% found this helpful

The Command Center is your primary security operations view in G8KEPR. It brings together your live security score, blocked threats, request volume, and open alerts on a single screen so you can see the health of your AI, API, and MCP traffic at a glance.

Open the Command Center

  1. 1.Sign in to your G8KEPR dashboard.
  2. 2.Select Command Center from the main navigation.
  3. 3.The view loads with real data from your account. If you're on a trial or offline, you'll see sample data with a banner indicating demo mode.

New to the platform? Start on the Start Here page first to generate an API key and send your first request. Once traffic is flowing, the Command Center fills in with your own data.

The key widgets

The top row gives you an instant read on your security posture:

  • Security score — a circular indicator summarizing your overall protection level.
  • Threats blocked (24h) — how many malicious requests were stopped in the last day.
  • Total API requests (24h) — your traffic volume over the same window.
  • Active alerts — the count of items currently needing attention.

Below the summary cards, you'll find the visual and tabular widgets:

  • 24-hour threat activity — a line chart showing when attacks spiked across the day.
  • Threat distribution by type — a bar chart breaking down what kinds of attacks you're seeing.
  • 4-pillar health — the live status of each of G8KEPR's four security pillars.
  • Top threat sources — a table of the most active origins, with IP, country, and attack count.
  • Recent alerts — a paginated list of the latest events, newest first.

Keep it current

The Command Center loads the latest data when you open it and again when you return to the tab, so the numbers reflect recent activity without a manual reload. If a refresh control is available on your account, you can use it to update the view while you keep the tab open.

Prefer a focused layout? When the modular widget view is enabled for your account, you can toggle individual widgets — such as threat trends, alert summaries, and gateway metrics — on or off to match how your team works.
